SkyNet Rural Internet is a family business based in LaGrange, Georgia. 

We live outside the city limits, just minutes from town, but too far out for local cable and internet providers to come out. For years, we struggled with poor internet service. Over the years we tried everything we could find including Netzero, AT&T, Karma, and a local company called Wireless Hometown. Nothing worked for long. 

I run a home based online business, www.shadygardensnursery.com, so I must have reliable internet. Plus, our children depend on the internet for homework (as well as those internet games which all teenagers require!) Some days, I'd wait more than ten minutes for a page to load, only to lose my connection before saving my work. It was so frustrating for me that at times I had to fight back tears.

Then one day I was contacted by David from SkyNet, who offered to install a dependable internet service that he promised would be better than what we had. To make a long story short, we invited David to bring us this strange thing called “reliable internet.” “Could it be real?” I wondered. Well, it was real, and it still is. After having SkyNet for more than a year, we were so happy with it that we decided to become providers. In December of 2016, we installed SkyNet Rural Internet Service for my niece who became our 1st customer. Here we are now well into 2018, and I’m happy to say we have a file drawer full of satisfied customers. We provide our services to all areas of Troup County and the surrounding counties, including but not limited to Harris, Heard, Coweta, and Meriwether, in Georgia, as well as Chambers, Lee, and Randolph Counties in Alabama.
